Threats to Ecosystem:

The threats to the ecosystem of the SouthEast Asia, and Amazon are fire,
drought and storms
Tourism is also a growing threat to forests because people are
going in to look at the forests but are leaving trash and messing with the
animals so they cannot move around THEIR habitat without fear of a
human finding them and blinding them with flashes from cameras.

Natural forest fires happen even in rainforests, even though they are
humid in nature. When forests burn in smaller fires, ground vegetation,
shrubbery, saplings, and smaller trees are being burnt down, while the
bigger canopy species are spared. The fire has the effect of clearing
the forest floor and of weaker trees, and letting new growth occur.

Importance of Ecosystem:
The importance of the ecosystem is that:
1. Oil palms are the most productive oil seed in the world.
2. Palm oil is derived from the plant’s fruit.
3. The plants of the rainforest generate much of the Earth’s oxygen.
4. Rainforest plants are also very important to people in other ways;
many are used in new drugs that fight disease and illness.
5. Rainforests are extremely important in the ecology of the Earth.
6. It’s an example of one of the many ways in which human
mismanagement of natural resources impacts our planet.
7. It includes societal need and personal comfort.

Conservation Plan:

We need to stop deforestation. If we don’t then were not only forcing more animals into extinction because they don’t have a habitat. But, the Amazon and other rainforest in the world produce most of are oxygen and without the rainforest we are putting more carbon dioxide in the world. By doing that we are destroying the O-Zone layer. We could fix this if different parts government would put money into a pool each month. And we would use that money to plant more trees and as we plant more trees we can slowly decrease clear cutting. Also, we could start recycling more that way we wouldn't need as much paper.
